So I meant to write this yesterday, but because of my ongoing flare I ended up in the hospital on Sunday night. I spent Monday just relaxing and largely doing nothing. The pain and weakness were getting uncontrollable and my nausea was making it difficult to keep medicine down. I went to the ER where they gave me a large dose of steroids and pain medication, good enough to let me sleep.

I feel more stable on my feet today. Over the weekend I was having to hold on to things sometimes because I felt like I might buckle.

I’m still waiting on the rest of my consult appointments for surgery, but I will be at KU Med for at least part of the pre-admission stuff later in the week.

I’m ready to get this part over with 🙂
